- Slide the on/off switch to the on position (light on).
- When water comes to boil, turn the on/off switch to the off position (light off).
ATTENTION
Do not boil milk, butter, whipped cream, etc., into the brewing pot. In
case you put them into boil, they will stick on the bottom of the device,
making it too diffi cult to clean.
LID
The use of the lid is recommended only for boiling water and not for making
coffee.
• Do not remove the lid when the water is boiling.
• Position the lid so that steam is directed away from the handle.

SAFETY SYSTEM

If your appliance ever runs dry while operating, a protection against running
dry will cut off the power automatically. In such cases, unplug the appliance
from the outlet and allow it to cool down completely.
CLEANING THE BREWING POT
- Inside cleaning: Unplug the pot from power. You may use dishwashing liquid
to clean the pot if it is too dirty, making sure that you keep the exterior dry.
Otherwise, just boil water into the pot to clean it.
- Outside cleaning: Wipe the exterior surface of the pot using a soft and damp
cloth with warm water and a small quantity of a light detergent.
DESCALING THE BREWING POT
Although scale is harmless, too much scale can affect the performance of the
brewing pot. Follow the steps below to prolong the life of the brewing pot:
1. Fill the brewing pot with water up to two-quarters and bring water to the boil.
2. Switch off the brewing pot and then add white vinegar up to three-quarters.
3. Leave the solution in the pot overnight.
4. Empty the pot and rinse the inside thoroughly.
