MOUNTING
WARNING
This charger is not designed for on-board use. Im-
proper mounting or installation could result in a
risk of fire or damage to the PTV.
Mount the charger on a shelf or on the wall with ade-
quate ventilation.
Ideally it will be mounted horizontally with airflow from
below. If it will be mounted vertically, it is recommend-
ed that the AC-input cord be at the lower end of the
charger.
Keep the charger free of oil, dirt, mud or dust to keep
the cooling fins operating as efficiently as possible.
Mount the charger by the mounting plate using appro-
priate fasteners.
TIP
The charger's AC plug must be located at least 46 cm
(18 in.) above the ground and the display visible to
the user.
WARNING
Chargers can ignite flammable materials and va-
pors. Do not use near fuels, grain dust, solvents or
other flammables.
