STARTING
1.
With the parking brake applied, turn the drive
select switch to "FWD" for forward, or "REV" for
reverse.
Li-ion BATTERY
NOTICE
Do not shift from "FWD" (forward) to "REV" (re-
verse) while the PTV is moving. Transmission dam-
age can result.
2.
Turn the main switch to "ON."
WARNING
Do not depress the accelerator pedal when turning
Li-ion BATTERY
on the main switch or the PTV may suddenly start
moving.
3.
Check that your path is clear in the direction you
plan to go, and slowly depress the accelerator
pedal. The PTV will start to move.
TIP
The parking brake automatically releases when the
accelerator pedal is depressed.
STOPPING
To stop the PTV, gradually press down on the brake
pedal.
NOTICE
Do not hold the PTV on an incline with the accel-
erator – use the brake. Transmission damage can
result.
When the PTV has come to a stop, apply the parking
brake pedal and turn the main switch to "OFF."
