Set the detergent metering valve to "0".
Always use a water supply hose with
a suction filter and a minimum diameter
of ¾".
n
Never draw water out of a drinking water
tank.
n
Do not draw in liquids which contain
solvents, e.g. paint thinners, petrol or oil.
The seals in the unit are not solvent-
resistant. The spray from solvents is
highly flammable, explosive and
poisonous!
Appropriate use

Use the unit for cleaning machines,
vehicles, buildings, tools, etc.
n
When cleaning facades, patios, garden
tools, etc., use the high-pressure jet
without detergent. For stubborn dirt we
recommend the dirt blaster as an
optional accessory.
n
Only clean engines in places which have
appropriate oil separators (protection of
the environment).
n
When using the appliance in areas of
potential risk (e.g. filling stations), the
pertinent safety guidelines must be
observed.

Operating the unit

Do not operate the high-pressure
cleaner near spilled fuel, but move the
machine to another location without
generating any sparks.
ö
Do not store, spill or use fuel near naked
flames or appliances such as an oven,
boiler, water heater, etc., which have
a pilot flame or generate sparks.
ö
Keep highly flammable objects and
materials away from the silencer (at
least 2 m).
ö
Do not operate the engine without
a silencer which should be checked
and cleaned regularly and, if required,
replaced.
ö
Before using this engine in wooded,
bush-covered or grassy areas, fit
a spark arrester to the exhaust.
ö
Except when adjusting the engine, do
not run the engine without the air filter or
without the cover over the intake pipe.
ö
Do not adjust the regulating springs,
regulating linkage or other parts which
could increase the engine speed.
ö
Do not touch hot silencers, cylinders or
cooling fins. Risk of burns!
ö
Never place hands or feet near moving
or rotating parts.
ö
Never operate the unit in closed rooms.
Danger of suffocation!
ö
The high-pressure jet generates a high
noise level when the unit is in use. Risk
of damage to hearing. When working
with the unit, always wear suitable
hearing protection.
ö
Place the unit on firm ground.
ö
The water emitted by the high-pressure
nozzle causes the handgun to recoil.
An offset spray lance may also cause
a torque.
