Switching on the unit

Unpack the unit
n
Please inform your dealer if there has
been any damage during transportation.
Mount the accessories
n
Connect the high-pressure hose and
spray wand to the handgun.
n
Attach the nozzle to the spray lance with
the notch mark at the top.
n
Tighten the union nut hand-tight.

Check the oil level in the high
pressure pump
n
Check the oil level on the inspection
glass.
Do not start the unit if the oil level has
dropped below "MIN".
n
If required, top up with oil (see Technical
Specifications).
Engine
n
Before switching on the engine, read the
operating manual supplied by the
engine manufacturer and follow the
safety instructions in particular.
n
Fill the fuel tank with lead-free petrol.
Do not use a 2-stroke mixture.
n
Check the oil level of the engine. Do not
start the unit if the oil level has dropped
below "MIN".
n
If required, top up with oil.
Water connection
n
For connected loads see Technical
Specifications.
n
Pay attention to the regulations of the
water supply company; according to DIN
1988, the unit may not be connected
direct to the public drinking water supply.
A short-term connection via a non-return
valve (Order no. 6.412-578) is allowed.
After the work has been completed,
separate the appliance from the water
supply.
n
Connect a supply hose (not supplied) to
the water outlet on the cleaner and to the
water inlet (e.g. water tap).
n
