from one full moon to the next with 28 days, 12 hours and 44 minutes as precisely as possible. The
moon phase display advances in whole-day increments together with the calendar. As a full moon
can occur at any time of night or day, it may be that your watch displays the calendar date of the full
or new moon but that the moon phase display has not reached this position due to the exact time
