Installation and regulation of power tool
elements
Before carrying out any works on the power tool it
must be disconnected from the mains.
Mounting / dismounting / setting-up of
some elements is the same for all power
tool models, in this case specific models
are not indicated in the illustration.
Do not draw up the fastening elements
too tight to avoid damaging the thread.
Installing / replacing accessories (see fig. 1-3)
After prolonged operation, the router bit
can become very hot, remove it using
gloves. This will also reduce the risk of
injury by the cutting edge.
• Turn the power tool upside down�
• Press and hold spindle lock 11 (see fig. 1).
• Release nut 12 using the wrench 25�
When replacing collet 27 or installing bush 21 (see
fig. 2-3):
[CT11012]
• Unscrew nut 12 (see fig. 2);
• Replace collet 27;
• If you want to use the router bit with another diam-
eter of shank (6 mm) - insert bush 21 into collet 27;
• Screw nut 12 on spindle 28�
[CT11002, CT11001]
• Unscrew nut 12 (see fig. 3);
• Before removing collet 27 from nut 12, open locking
ring 29;
• If you want to use the router bit with another diam-
eter of shank (6, 8 mm) - insert bush 21 into collet 27;
• Tighten nut 12 on spindle 28�
When installing or replacing the router bit:
• Install / replace the router bit, noting that the rout-
er bit shank must be inserted into the collet 27 at
least 20 mm deep�
• Tighten nut 12 using the open end wrench 25� Note:
never tighten nut 12 without the router bit - this can
damage collet 27.
After all the operations have been completed, release
spindle lock 11�
Dust extraction system (see fig. 4-5)
• Install cover 9 as shown in figures 4-5.
• Install adaptor 22 as shown in figures 4-5.
• Connect the external dust extracting device to adap-
tor 22 (use a suitable adaptor if necessary)�
Guide bushing mounting / dismounting (see fig. 6-8)
• Install guide bushing 24 into the base plate 4 and fix
it using screws 23 (see fig. 6-8).
• Disassembly operations do in reverse sequence�
Parallel guide assembly / adjustment / installation
(see fig. 9-11)
• Assemble parallel guide 26 as shown in fig. 9-10.
• Install parallel guide 26 into base plate 4 and fix it
with wing screws 5 (see fig. 9-10).
• The parallel guide for CT11002, CT11001 has an
adjusting screw 31 which can be used for accurate
adjustment (see fig. 11).
• Disassembly operations do in reverse sequence�
Initial operating of the power tool
Always use the correct supply voltage: the power sup-
ply voltage must match the information quoted on the
power tool identification plate.
Switching the power tool on / off
Short-term switching on / off
To switch on, press and hold on / off switch 2, to switch
off - release it�
Long-term switching on / off
Switching on:
Push on / off switch 2 and lock it in the position with
lock-on button 1�
Switching off:
Push and release on / off switch 2�
Dust suction during the power tool op-
eration
Dust collection decreases dust concentra-
tion in the air and prevents build up of dust
at the work station�
While operating the power tool, always use
a vacuum cleaner suitable for collecting process-
generated dust� A special adapter is used to join the
vacuum cleaner to adaptor 22�
