4. TRANSFORMER
The transformer is a 42 V, 3 A DC power adapter.
It is connected between the charging station and a
220 V – 240 V power supply.
The transformer must be placed near the charging
station, protected from sprinkler systems, rain,
snow, and direct sunlight.
5. POWER CORD
The power cord connects the transformer to the
charging station.
6. BOUNDARY WIRE
The boundary wire is laid in a loop around the work
area of the mower. The boundary wire is also set
around the edges of the lawn, ornaments, plants,
and other obstacles that the mower must avoid
during operation.

ACCESSORIES

7. CHARGING STATION SCREWS
The charging station screws hold the charging

INSTALLING THE BOUNDARY WIRE

METHODS OF BOUNDARY WIRE INSTALLATION

USING THE PEGS
Use a hammer / rubber mallet to secure the pegs
to the ground and hold the boundary wire in place.

CONDITIONS OF LAYING THE BOUNDARY WIRE

The boundary wire must form a loop around the work
area of the product. The product will operate only within
the bounded perimeter. Only the original boundary
wire, designed and supplied by the manufacturer, must
be used. Using a different boundary wire may cause
performance issues and damage to the product.
Do not coil the boundary wire.

WORK AREA BOUNDARIES

OBSTACLES
The boundary wire should be laid 45 cm from the
obstacle that borders the work area and is 1.5 cm
or more in height. This will prevent the mower from
colliding with the obstacle and reduce body wear.
About 30 cm of the lawn around the fi xed obstacle
will not be mowed.
SOFTSCAPES
The boundary wire should be laid 45 cm from the
obstacle that borders the work area and is 1.5 cm
or more in height. This will prevent the mower from
colliding with the obstacle and reduce body wear.
About 30 cm of the lawn around the fi xed obstacle
will not be mowed. Flower beds, trees, plants,
grass, and mulches are examples of softscapes.
HARDSCAPES
The boundary wire should be laid 45 cm from the
obstacle that borders the work area and is 1.5 cm
or more in height. This will prevent the mower from
colliding with the obstacle and reduce body wear.
About 30 cm of the lawn around the fi xed obstacle
will not be mowed. Sidewalks, pavers, rocks,
decks, and patios are examples of hardscapes. The
boundary wire should be laid at least 5 cm away
from the fl at paving stone or fl at pavement.
NOTE: The mower must never run over gravel, mulch,
or similar material that can damage the blades.
NOTE: An edging that is at least 60 cm must be used
if the work area is adjacent to a pool, steep slopes, or
a public road. This will prevent the mower from ending
up outside the working area under any circumstance.
NOTE: Set up the boundary away from high-voltage
posts or devices. Do not set up the boundary near heat
or fi re sources, or explosive environment.

SPLICING THE BOUNDARY WIRES

Use an original coupler if the boundary wire is not long
enough for the work area and needs to be spliced.
Insert both wire ends into the coupler. Check that the
boundary wires are fully inserted into the coupler. Both
ends of the boundary wires should be visible through
the transparent area on the other side of the coupler.
Press the button on top of the coupler to connect the
both ends of the boundary wires. If necessary, use a
polygrip to completely press down the button on the
coupler.
