The Smart Uplink module requires the following types of cable:
TX Type (Part Number 267045-001)

FX (ST) Type (Part Number 276042-001)

Modem Cable

You can use a standard EIA RS-232 cable to connect the serial COM port,
located on the front panel of the managed 100Base-T repeater (Models 2624
and 3612), to a modem. This lets you perform out-of-band management and
Flash (firmware) downloads via a remote dial-up to the modem. When you
connect a PC to the serial interface for local management, you must use an EIA
RS-232 null modem cable.
