Sit pilot ground upgrade kit e-clip

Overview

This kit contains an "E" clip, grounding wire, and screws designed to improve the grounding performance of

your gas appliance. This update provides a significant improvement in grounding of the pilot, resulting in

improved pilot spark and pilot rectification.

NOTE: This kit is for Travis Industries, Inc. products only.

1/4" and 5/16" Nutdrivers

•

Pliers

•

E-Clip

•

Grounding Wire (used only on certain models – see page 3)

•

(2) 10-24 x 3/8" Thread-Forming Screws (used only on certain models – see page 3)

Access the firebox and remove the burner (see

installation/owner's manual for details).

Remove the pilot hood and place it aside.

Remove and discard the pilot hood clip. Needle-

nose pliers work well for this.

Replace the pilot hood.
