Fireplace Thermostat Fix Kit – 228-30035
Overview
This kit contains a remote that has been specially created to replace faulty modulating remotes
(SKU 99300652) It is intended as a fix for those remotes that are not working correctly.
This Remote is Non-Modulating
This remote does not have a modulating circuit. Therefore, you have two options for using this
remote:
• Option A Manually over-ride the regulator on the gas control valve. This will make the
heater operate with a high flame. If you do not insert the pin, the heater will operate at the
low flame height. Use the pin included with the modulating remote.

fragile).
• Option B Remove the modulating regulator and replace with a stock regulator (LP or NG).

Insert three "AAA" AAA Battery batteries into the transmitter as shown. Slide the code switches to a random position on the receiver.
