Upgrading and replacing hardware
Replacing the system board
1 Switch off the PC and remove the PC's cover and front panel. Refer to page 8.
2 If you have a small form factor model, remove the accessory board bracket.
3 Remove the airflow guide (if one is fitted).

4 Remove the main memory (page 14) and processor (page 26) from the old system board.
5 Remove all data, power and other cables from the old system board.
6 Remove the 8 screws securing the system board.
