Installing the N8117-01A additional RS-232C connector kit

Install a PCI card to connect to the PCI slot by using the following procedure. For details, refer to the
instruction manual supplied with the connector kit.

Follow the procedure below to install the kit.
1. Refer to Chapter 2 (1.3 Overview of Installation and Removal) for preparations.
2. Remove the side cover while referring to Chapter 2 (1.4 Removing the Side Cover).
3. Assemble <5> PCI bracket (2) and <3> RS-232C cable (B).

Important The N8117-01A additional RS-232C connector kit contains two types of cables. This
server uses the RS-232C cable (B).
