Important • SAS Hard Disk Drives and SATA Hard Disk Drives cannot be combined.
• About RAID LED cables
The DISK access LED on the front of the equipment shows the access status of
Hard Disk Drives that are connected to a RAID Controller. To display this status,
use the LED cable to connect the LED connector of the computer to the connector
on the RAID Controller.
Refer to the figures below and connect the LED cable to the LED connector of the
motherboard.
Connect the opposite end of the cable to connect to the RAID Controller.

Tips
If using an SAS Hard Disk Drive, you must connect to a RAID Controller.
