The use of unsuitable grease can cause damage to the product. Use only genuine Hilti grease. 1. Apply a little grease to the connection end of the accessory tool.

    Drilling without hammering action is possible when accessory tools with a special connection end are used. Accessory tools of this kind are available from Hilti. Alternatively, when the keyless quick- release chuck is fitted, smooth-shank drill bits for wood or steel, for example, can be used to drill without hammering.

    If a problem occurs, always observe the charge-status and fault indicator of the battery. See the section headed Status indicators of the Li­ion battery. If the trouble you are experiencing is not listed in this table or you are unable to remedy the problem by yourself, please contact Hilti Service.     ▶ Cover the terminals with a non-conductive material (such as electrical tape) to prevent short circuiting. ▶ Dispose of your battery out of the reach of children. ▶ Dispose of the battery at your Hilti Store, or consult your local governmental garbage disposal or public health and safety resources for disposal instructions.
