2.2.2 Changing parameters

To set or change a numerical parameter in the channel menu the respective line is
selected with the cursor:
Example: U 1 is to be changed:

Pressing the key (CHANGE), activates the tuning knob enabling the selected
parameter to be changed. If the selected parameter is a switch parameter (i.e. the
polarity of the photo diode) the function of the soft key will change:
Pressing the right soft key will toggle the polarity.
Pressing terminates the input.
Some parameters can not be changed, as they are measurement values
(i.e. the photo diode current) or may not be changed during bias voltage
switched on. In these cases access is denied indicated by a long beep.
