Replacing a Slim CD-ROM Drive
6 Remove the old CD-ROM drive from the PC.
7 Remove the CD-ROM rail from the old CD-ROM drive and attach it to
the new drive.
8 Insert the new CD-ROM drive.
9 Fasten the four screws to secure the CD-ROM drive.
10 Attach the CD-ROM's data adaptor to the back of the CD-ROM drive.
11 Replace the hard disk drive (described in this chapter).
12 Place the front chassis upside down on the rear of the NetVectra PC.
13 Connect the data cable to the CD-ROM drive and the system board.
14 Reconnect the hard disk drive cables, the front panel cable, and the
floppy disk drive cable (if you have a floppy disk drive).
15 Replace the front chassis (described in this chapter).
16 Replace the cover (described in this chapter) and reconnect all
cables and power cords.
