It carries out its measurement and evaluation functions and generates output signals according to the set parameters.

    The calibration factor influences the slope of the measurement characteristic of the flow measurement. The sensor is suitable for oils with indicated viscosity (Ò Technical data at documentation.ifm.com). The indicated viscosity applies to an oil temperature of 40 °C. For this oil, the sensor automatically compensates the viscosity change in the temperature range of 20...70 °C.

    If several diagnostic events occur simultaneously, only the diagnostic message of the event with the highest priority is displayed. If the measured temperature value fails, the process value for flow rate is still available.
