Chapter 4 System Support
Table 4-16 lists the operation status codes provided by the power LED on the front of the chassis.
Note that error or problem conditions are reported only by the power LED on the minitower.

S0: System on (normal operation)
S1: Suspend
S3: Suspend to RAM
S4: Suspend to disk
S5: Soft off

4.7.4 TEMPERATURE SENSING

The microprocessor features an internal temperature sensor that will detect an excessive heat
condition and initiate a CPU shut-down routine. On minitower systems a Thermal Trip signal
routed to the I/O controller is asserted, resulting in the I/O controller's LED logic to blink the front
panel Power-On LED red at approximately four times a second.
