The 80387sx chip has many pins which are all mounted on the
sides of the chip. It is important to align the chip with the socket and
care must be taken to avoid misalignment of the pins. For this reason
you may wish to have the chip installed professionally. If you want to
do the work yourself, take special care to see that the chip is properly
oriented before pressing it into the socket. Once it has been pressed
into the socket, a special tool is required to get it out.
