STARTING, STOPPING THE ENGINE

Starting the engine
The card must be inserted in detection
zone 1.
To start:
– depress the brake pedal;
– press button 2. The message
READY comes on, on the instrument
panel, along with a beep.
The message disappears when the ve-
hicle speed is above approximately 3.1
mph (5 km/h).

Special features
– If any one of the starting conditions
is not applied, the message "Apply
brake + START" is displayed on the
instrument panel;
– in some cases, it will be necessary
to move the steering wheel whilst
pressing the start button 2 to help
unlock the steering column; the
message "Turn Steering Wheel +
START" will warn you of this.
During a system update via the mul-
timedia system it will not be possible
to start the vehicle.
Wait for the update to be completed
before starting the vehicle.

The vehicle can only be started if
the charging cord is unplugged from
the vehicle.
