Problem
The coffee is not hot.
The coffee is weak or not
creamy enough.
The coffee is supplied too slowly
or a drop at a time.
The slices coffee grounds are
soft and mushy.
Possible cause
The inside of the appliance is
very dirty.
A reminder that the appliance
needs de-scaling and/or the
filter must be replaced.
Reminder to clean the tubes
inside the milk container.
Reminder to replace the filter.
Reminder to descale the
appliance.
The cups were not preheated.
The brewing unit has cooled
down because several minutes
have elapsed since the last
coffee was made.
A low coffee temperature is set.
The coffee is ground too
coarsely.
The coffee is not correct.
The coffee is ground too finely.
The grind level is not correct.

Troubleshooting

Solution
Clean the inside of the
appliance thoroughly.
Disassemble and clean the
brewing unit.
Replace or remove the water
filter and/or descale the
appliance as soon as possible.
Turn the milk froth adjustment
knob to CLEAN'.
Replace or remove the water
filter.
Descale the appliance as soon
as possible.
Warm the cups by rinsing them
with hot water (you can use the
hot water function).
Before making coffee, use the
rinsing function to heat the
brewing unit.
Select a higher coffee
temperature.
Adjust the grind level.
Use coffee for espresso
machines.
Adjust the grind level.
Adjust the grind level (in the
direction of 1).
