MAINTENANCE

DISCONNECT THE SAW FROM
THE MAINS SUPPLY!
Daily
• Keep the machine clean.
• Check the saw blade for missing teeth and cracks, see fig 88.
• Spray Axcaliber Dry Lubricant on the bare metal surfaces.

Weekly
• Open the wheel doors and clean out all saw dust and
impacted 'crud' from the wheels and compartment area, see
fig 89-90. Note: using a vaccum cleaner, clean the motor vents
and casing.
• Check the condition of the upper/lower blade guide bearings
and thrust bearing. Clean any impacted 'crud' from the bearing,
see fig 91-92.

Monthly
• Open the lower and upper door and check the condition
of the tyres and the drive belt. Clean out all saw dust and
impacted 'crud' from the wheels and compartment area.
• Apply a little oil to the screw threads of the blade and
drive belt tensioners. DO NOT TO GET ANY OIL ON THE
TYRES AND DRIVE BELT.
• Check the condition of the tyres
• Check the blade for missing teeth and cracks
• Over time the drive belt can slacken, refer to the previous
page for tensioning the drive belt.
