Important
Using Windows NT 3.51
The following procedure installs a retail version of Windows NT 3.51 and
configures appropriate device drivers.
Requirements
OmniBook 2000/5700.
16 MB of RAM, preferably 32 MB.
OmniBook 2000/5700 Internal CD-ROM or access to a networked CD-ROM
drive.
Windows NT Workstation version 3.51 CD ROM and three boot disks.
Blank floppy disk.
OmniBook 2000/5700 Windows NT drivers.
Location: OmniBook hard drive or Recovery CD in \OMNIBOOK\DRIVERS\NT.
The Windows NT OmniBook drivers must be installed from disk. If you have
formatted your hard disk drive and are using the Recovery CD, copy the
\OMNIBOOK directory on the Recovery CD to the hard disk drive.
Before You Start
This installation assumes you are installing Windows NT on a standard HP
Windows for Workgroups or Windows 95 build. If you have repartitioned the
hard disk drive, please follow the instructions for setting up a hibernation
partition on page 1-11.
