For mail under 0.67" thick:
1. Locate the mail thickness setting button on the Feeder top cover.

2. Refer to the table below to choose the position of the mail thickness setting button.

Use this setting to process thick or puffy mail. You
can also use it when you process one mail piece at
a time or when you use an inserter.
This is the setting recommanded for most media.
This setting applies more pressure through the fingers
in case of double feeding issues with your mail.
This is the strongest setting available if you still ex-
perience feeding issues.
A green-colored circle or square indicates the position selected.
