Caring for DVDs and other discs
■ To keep the disc clean, always hold it by the edges. Do not touch the
surface. When the disc is not being played, store it in its case.

Do not expose the disc to direct sunlight or heat sources. Leaving it in a
car parked in direct sunlight is likely to damage the disc because
temperatures may rise considerably inside the car.
Cleaning discs
Clean discs by wiping from the center to the edge, not around in a circle, using
a product, such as a soft cloth, made especially for cleaning CDs and DVDs.
Do not use solvents such as benzine, thinner, or anti-static spray made for vinyl
records.
