Wing shafts alignment

ENSURE THAT AFTER SERVICING THE TRANSMISSION, THE WING PTO SHAFT YOKES ARE
CORRECTLY ALIGNED AS SHOWN IN THE DIAGRAM BELOW – WINGED MODELS ONLY. IF THE
SHAFT JOURNALS ARE FITTED INCORRECTLY THE DAMAGE WILL ONLY OCCUR WHEN THE WINGS
ARE RAISED INTO TRANSPORT POSITION.

Lubrication schedule

Use EP2 type grease or equivalent.
Replace oil in gearboxes after first 100 hours
Use oil which conforms to 80W/90 standards.
All PTO Shaft Yoke Ends
PTO tubes
Roller height adjuster
(4x2) - single deck models
(12x2) - winged models
Roller
Wing eye pivot (0/2/4)
Hydraulic Ram (0/1/2)
Castor wheel pivot
Castor wheel axle
Check oil levels in the gearboxes
Replace oil in gearboxes

Troubleshooting

Remedy
Replace blades
Use correct PTO speed
Too wet to mow. Stop operation and wait until it is drier
Reduce ground speed by shifting to a lower gear
Mow in only one direction
Change blades so that cutting edge is facing correct
rotation
