    2. Hitch the lower linkage arms to the Machine and connect the top link. Ensure that the locking pins are secure. 3. Connect the hydraulic hoses to the appropriate connections.     Tension in the spring is set at the factory to cater for the most common cutting conditions. This setting is achieved by keeping the distance of 95mm between the latch and 95mm the nut.     Every model is fitted with a wheel which stops the machine from bottoming out. It must belocated at the front outer edge fo the machine. The wheel is factory set to suit most cutting conditions, however, it can be adjusted if required, to do so remove 4 bolts shown and set to the required height.     Pay attention to the FLOW direction arrow on your machine as Left hand mounted and Right hand mounted machines have a different flow direction! Replace worn or damaged labels immediately.     Maintenance 040322 In order to keep your Major machine in a good working order it is necessary to conduct maintenance on a regular basis. Only competent and skilled persons who have fully read and understood this operator’s manual are allowed to carry out maintenance on this machine.

    Blades, blade backs, blade bushing, blade bolts and nuts must be checked on a regular basis for wear and defection. MAJOR recommends to visually check the blade assemblies every 40 hours of operation. This interval may change depending on the operational conditions.
