US-14b Ultrasound Neonatal Head Phantom (Abnormal type) Instruction Manual Contents ● Please read before training General information ● Preparation 1 Before training ● Training 2 Training session 3 After training This head phantom is designed to demonstrate Hydrocephalus, the shape of the skull is deformed due to intracranial pressure. The training features include scanning of brain anatomy in sagittal (angled parasagittal), coronal and transverse planes via any fontanels and also palpation of anterior, posterior and mastoid fontanels.

Preparation Training 1 Before training 1. Set the phantom on the stable place. 2. Spread plenty of lubricant gel on the phantom. 2 Training session The phantom can be scanned with actual ultrasound devices. * The map of simulated targets is on the backside of this manual.

Don’t mark on the phantom with pen or leave printed materials contacted on its surface.
