Connecting auxiliary devices
Please observe the overview diagrams (Fig. 7 and Fig. 8, page 10).
Auxiliary devices can be connected either to the port on the front
panel (23) and/or to the port on the back (18) of the WX 1 Soldering
Station.
The WX 1 Soldering Station detects automatically which auxiliary
device is connected. The WX 1 Soldering Station shows the symbol
or name of the connected auxiliary device on the front port (23), see
Fig. 35 or rear port (23/18).

Setting the parameters of auxiliary devices
Please observe the overview diagrams (Fig. 7 and Fig. 8, page 9).
1. Select the auxiliary device using the auxiliary device key
(front/back) (4, 10).
The variable parameters (e.g. speed) are displayed.
2. Set the required value using the turn-and-click wheel (5).
3. Confirm the value with the Enter key (6)
or
press key (4) to exit.

Clean the operator panel, if dirty, using a suitable cleaning cloth.
Seal ports which are not in use with covering caps.

9 Error messages and error clearance

Possible cause
− Tool has not been detected
− Tool defective
− No mains supply voltage
− Overload cut-out
Remedial measures
− Check connection of tool to
device
− Check connected tool
− Turn on mains power switch
− Check mains supply voltage
− Check device fuse
− Only one soldering iron can be
operated.
