Introduction
The Lantech IPES-0104FA is a 4 x 10/100TX + 1 100FX with 4-PoE-injector Industrial PoE+ Switch feeding up to
30W/port for plug-and-play installation. This slim switch is Wall-mountable or DIN rail mountable, making installation
easier and flexible.
The IPES-0104FA is designed to meet with critical network environment with IP 30 enclosure and test under extensive
Industrial EMI and Safety standards. It supports EFT protection for 2000VDC power and 6000VDC ESD contact
protection, which can reduce unstable environment damage caused by power line and Ethernet. The IPES-0104FA also
supports IEEE 802.3at/af standard for PoE/PoE+ auto-detection and PoE classification resistors for hand-shaking with PD
(power device), which can prevent any connected devices from burning down by sending high voltage (48V) out.

- Page 2 Installation package This unit can be installed by din-rail mounted or wall-mounted. Din-rail brackets and wall-mounted bracket are included. Power and alarm relay connection The PWR1 and PWR2 can be redundant with each other or you can use one of them to supply the switch. The middle contact was designed for alarm relay connection.
- Page 3 Recommendation for Shielded network cables STP cables have additional shielding material that is used to reduce external interference. The shield also reduces the emission at any point in the path of the cable. Our recommendation is to deploy an STP network cable in demanding electrical environments. Examples of demanding indoor environments are where the network cable is located in parallel with electrical mains supply cables or where large inductive loads such as motors or contactors are in close vicinity to the camera or its cable.
