PANIC ALARM
Wall Mountable Alarm

Introduction

The Panic Alarm is easily fixed to the wall to provide a means to alert of a threat. The alarm has
a bright red colour to ensure it is highly visible to the user. When the ripcord is pulled a powerful
120dBs siren and flashing red LED light are activated.

Mounting the Panic Alarm

1. Use the panic alarm holder to mark 3 points on the wall where you want the unit to be fixed.
2. Drill 3 holes approximately 2.6mm deep and place screw jackets into the holes.
3. Place the holder on the wall and screw the screws provided into the jackets in the wall.
4. Place alarm in the holder ensuring the ripcord is pulled through the hole at the bottom of the
holder.

Operation of the alarm

On first use, remove the tab from the battery compartment on the back of the unit.
1. Push toggle switch up to the 'On' position to arm the alarm. The red LED will flash every 30
seconds when the alarm is armed.
2. To activate the alarm siren pull downwards on the ripcord, the powerful 120dBs siren will
sound and the red LED will flash continuously.
3. To stop the alarm, replace the pin into the alarm or switch the toggle switch to the 'Off'
position.
4. To deactivate the alarm ensure the pin is replaced into the unit and push the toggle switch
down to the 'Off' position.

Battery replacement

It is recommended that the alarm is tested regularly. If the alarm sounds weak, the batteries should
be replaced. To replace the batteries, unscrew the battery compartment as shown in the diagram
below and remove the cover. Remove the old batteries and insert new batteries noting the correct
polarity. This unit operates on 2 x AAA batteries.
