TROUBLESHOOTING

There are many common issues you may experience with your kegerator that
can be solved very easily, without the need of a service call. Try the tips below
to troubleshoot your unit should you experience any problems:
Problem
Excess formation of
foam "head"
Flat draft with no foam
formation
No beer flow from the
dispenser
Sputtering draw

Possible Cause
• If the keg has been recently moved, you should let it
stand for a minimum of two (2) hours before
tapping
• Verify that the CO2 regulator pressure is reading
between 10- 12 PSI
• Ensure that the keg cooler is operating between 36-
40 degrees Fahrenheit
• If the beer keg has been exposed to a warm
environment for an extended period, give it
sufficient time to cool before attempting a pour
• If pressure has built up, activate the pressure relief
valve located on the keg coupler for 3 seconds
• Improper draw technique
• Verify that the CO2 regulator pressure is reading
between 10- 12 PSI Glassware is not "beer clean"
and has residual oil that is quickly dissolving the
foam formation
• Ensure that all recommended temperature and
gauge settings are being used for a five (5) foot long
dispensing hose
• Refill the CO2 cylinder if necessary
• Ensure that both the CO2 cylinder and regulator
shut-off valve are open
• Refill the CO2 cylinder, if necessary, Replace the
beer keg if empty
• Verify that there are no kinks or obstructions in
either the air line or dispenser line and that neither
are frozen
• Ensure all connections are secure and all seals are in
place and in good condition
• Dispense system requires cleaning
• Check the seal between the keg and the keg coupler
to ensure that the coupler has been installed
incorrectly
