Working with the truck
Move the control for the starting aid upward or downward for the desired
travel direction. Undo the catch to move the control downward.
Move the control to the neutral position when the function is not in use.
Always clean and lubricate the starting aid unit internally in the event of a
malfunction (blocking/jamming of wheels and/or handles).
5.4.5 LHM230X user manual
The instructions below is an addendum to other information in the manual,
and apply specifically to this truck.
Note: Never leave a truck with a lifted load and the handbrake applied.
Note: There is a risk of crushing, never have a finger under the locking lever.
Note:
Adapt the speed according to the incline and surface. Maximum inclina-
tion is 5 % for using a truck with handbrake.

Before using the truck, check that the brake cable (a) is not damaged.
Check that the braking force is sufficient, and adjust the cable tension if
needed.
Pull the parking brake lever upwards to activate the handbrake.
The handbrake also doubles as a parking brake. Push the lock lever to-
wards the detent when the truck is braked in order to lock the brake.
Release the parking brake by pulling the brake handle upward and mov-
ing the lock lever outward.
