NOTE! Please note that you cannot mix hot liquids in the take-away mug
(e.g. soup) due to the pressure that may build up in the mug. However,
you can first mix the hot liquid in the blender jug and then pour it into the take-
away mug, if you want.
Plug the appliance in. The red indicator light around the function button comes
on. Turn the function dial to any programme - smoothie, soup or ice crushing,
and press the switch. The indicator light changes colour to blue and the
programme starts. Each function has a programmed process time (see under
each function for more details), but the process can also be stopped manually
by pressing the switch in the middle of the function dial. The blender also has
continuous speed adjustment that can be activated by turning the function dial
clockwise to the setting of your choice.
NOTE! The programme functions (soup, smoothie and ice crushing) can only
be activated when you use the blender jug. When mixing using the take-away
mug, only manual speed 1-2 can be selected. Then turn the function dial
clockwise one step to select speed 1 or half-way to maximum to select speed
2.

Once the programme has concluded, the blender switches off and the indicator
light turns to red. See also the graphs of time intervals on page 4.
If the ingredients do not rotate/mix in the jug, press the accompanying
tampeer through the hole in the lid to feed through the ingredients.
Continuous speed

The blender works at an accelerating speed for around 6
minutes unless it is turned off manually at the switch, or by
turning the function dial to OFF.
The blender works at various speeds for around 1 minute
unless it is turned off manually at the switch, or by turning
the function dial to OFF.
Add a maximum of 10 ice cubes to the jug. The blender
works in pulse intervals for around 35 seconds unless
it is turned off manually at the switch, or by turning the
function dial to OFF.
The blender has continuous speed setting. Start at a low
speed and gradually increase if necessary. Switch off
the blender by pressing the switch in the middle of the
function dial and turning the function dial to OFF. The
blender otherwise automatically switches off after around
5 minutes.
