For a period of two years (or more) after the shipment date, the Innova warranty will be in effect as long as the shaker has not been in operation for a total of 10,000 hours.

The Innova 4900 and all of its optional accessories is among the newest generation of NBS products. The entire Innova 4900 line of products incorporates a variety of state-of-the-art components and features for your exacting scientific experiments.

  • Page 16 In addition, the timer may be used to activate or de-activate the alternate temperature setpoint for the incubator. The timer maintains time of day and day of week even when the Innova 4900 is turned off. Illumination and alternate temperature are controlled by separate channels; they are entirely are independent of one another.

    & Inspection of Boxes After you have received your order from New Brunswick Scientific, inspect the boxes carefully for any damage that may have occurred during shipping. Report any damage immediately to the carrier and to your local NBS Sales Order Department or local NBS distributor.

    Beginning the Installation 1. Place the Innova 4900’s power switch in the OFF position, and disconnect the unit from its power source. 2. Pull off the two trim strips from the main console panel (see Figure 1, repeated below). Figure 1: Front View of Innova 4900 3.

    & & The Innova 4900 Light Manifold requires no routine maintenance except periodic cleaning, and the occasional replacement of lamps. Cleaning Clean the Light Manifold with a non-abrasive glass cleaner and a soft cloth. Never use abrasive or corrosive compounds or materials to clean this assembly, as they may damage the parts, compromise efficient operation, and void the warranty.

    If an electronic component or a circuit board needs to be replaced, be sure to call NBS to request a qualified service technician. Attempting to do such work yourself is a potential hazard to you, to the proper operation of Innova 4900 equipment, and jeopardizes the warranty.
