QVLAN settings

6.6.1

Overview

The AP supports 802.1Q VLANs and is applicable in a network environment where 802.1Q VLANs
have been defined. By default, the QVLAN function is disabled.
If the QVLAN function is enabled, tagged data received by a port of the AP is forwarded to the other
ports of the VLAN corresponding to the VID in the data, whereas untagged data received by a port
of the AP is forwarded to the other ports of the VLAN corresponding to the PVID of the port that
receives the data.
The following table describes how ports of different link types process transmitted and received
data.

The QVLAN Settings page allows you to set VLAN IDs of all wireless networks.
To access the page, choose Wireless > QVLAN Settings.
Untagged data
Forward the data to the
other ports of the VLAN
corresponding to the PVID
of the port that receives
the data.
