    Furnace General Installation The following sections give general instructions for the installation of the gas furnaces. Furnace Panel Removal Note: For the L8X1 furnace, a 1/4" nut driver is required to remove the two screws at the top of the front panel. The front panel can then be removed by lifting upwards.
