Antenna System Cellular Devices
The antenna system is defined as the U.FL connection point from the device through the cable and antenna.
Device performance depends on implementation and antenna system design. Integrating the antenna system is a
critical part of the design process; therefore, it is essential to consider it early so the performance is not
compromised.
Requirements for Cellular Antennas with regard to FCC/IC Compliance
The antenna must be the same type, with similar performance and in- and out-of-band radiation patterns as the
listed antenna. The antenna used must stay below the FCC/IC maximum gain.
For our bundles, MultiTech may change antennas over time. The listed antenna(s) is used as a reference or was
shipping when this document was last updated.
