This product update explains changes to the MT56DSU2 product that are not reflected in the
MT56DSU2 User Guide manual:
•
DIP switch 8 (Sync/Async Operation) must be set to the UP position.
•
DIP switches 13 and 14 are not used.
The MT56DSU2 is a sync-only device; Multi-Tech Model MT64DSU is recommended if your
application requires a model to run async on the serial port.
