A 1.4 Uses and Applications
From the recorded lower-jaw movements of
the patient, ARCUSdigma Handheld
calculates all necessary data for
programming the KaVo Protar articulator,
for the purpose of producing a functional
prosthesis.
Furthermore, centric registrations similar to
a split-cast control can be compared with
each other in the patient's mouth.
The effect of a positioning splint on the
displacement of the tempero-mandibular
joint can also be displayed.
With KaVo PROTARevo 7
(Order No: 0.622.4000) and the
optional Shift-angle Inserts (Mat. No.
0.622.1111) all recorded data can be
reproduced.
For the anterior/canine guidance, the fully-
adjustable Incisal Plate (Mat. No.
0.622.1701) is required.
