Establishing a Wireless LAN Connection between the
Data Projector and a Computer
The method you should use to establish a connection between the Data Projector and a
computer depends on the type of connection you want to establish. One important
consideration is whether you want to use a Simple Connection or a Manual Connection
profile.
One Data Projector and One Computer
In this case, connect using Simple Connection. Make sure that the same Simple
Connection profile (Simple Connection 1 or Simple Connection 2, Simple Connection 3) is
selected on both the Data Projector and on the computer.
If there are multiple 1-to-1 wireless LAN connections in the same area, use a different
connection profile (Simple Connection 1, Simple Connection 2, Simple Connection 3) for
each one.

One Data Projector and Multiple (Up to 4) Computers
Configure this connection using the Manual Connection Ad Hoc Mode. Make sure that all
of the profile contents (except for the IP address) of the Data Projector and the computer
are identical.

Connection over a Wireless Network
Configure this connection using the Manual Connection Access Point Mode (page 81). Note
that technical knowledge about network connections is required to configure a connection
over a wireless network.

Connection Using a Notebook Computers Built-in Wireless LAN
