- Page 2 NOTICE for universal child restraint system group III (22-36 kg) 1. This is a “UNIVERSAL” CHILD RESTRAINT. It is approved to Regulation No 44, 04 series of amendments, for general use in vehicles and it will fit most, but not all, car seats. 2. A correct fit is likely if the vehicle manufacturer has declared in the vehicle handbook that the vehicle is capable of accepting a “universal” child restraint for this age group. 3. This child restraint has been classified as “universal” under more stringent conditions than those which applied to earlier designs which do not carry this notice. 4. If in doubt, consult either the child restraint manufacturer or the retailer. This restraint system is suitable for use only in vehicles fitted with three-point static belt with a retractable mechanism that meets the requirements of Regulation № 16 of the Economic Commis- sion for Europe of the United Nations! - Page 3 Never install the car seat on this seat! Install the car seat on this seat, only if it is equipped with 3 –point safety belt. Do not install it on front seat, if it is equipped with air bag. - Page 4 PRODUCT FEATURES Child restraint system suitable for children weighing 22-36 kg, Group III – 22-36 kg (approx. age 6-12 years); Car seat is installed on the vehicle seat using 3-point vehicle safety belt; Child restraint must be installed in FORWARD facing position. INSTRUCTION FOR USE IMPORTANT! • Follow exactly the instructions and safety recommendations in this manual. • ALWAYS CHECK THE SECURITY OF FIXING OF THE SAFETY BELTS! INSTALLATION OF CAR SEAT IN FORWARD FACING POSITION USING THE 3-POIMT SAFETY BELTS OF THE VEHICLE Correct Incorrect WARNING!
- Page 5 1. Install the car seat on vehicle seat (1) 2. Insert the lap belt through the guides (under armrests) of car seat and the diagonal belt under arm rests (2). Lock both belts into the buckle until you hear a click. WARNING! The diagonal belt must be above child’s shoulders and not though its neck. WARNING! Lap belt must hold firmly the pelvis of the child! WARNING! Make sure the vehicle belts are not twisted and are in correct position! 3. Tighten the belts by pulling them. Use the belt clip to position the diagonal belt across child’s chest at enough distance from child’s neck. IMPORTANT! Make sure the vehicle belts are well snugged and car seat is securely fixed to the vehicle seat. FABRIC REMOVAL Grab the fabric cover from behind and pull it out of the base. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS Clean the fabrics, plastic parts and metal parts with damp cotton cloth or sponge and mild soap. Upholstery may be hand washed at 300С using mild detergent! Do not bleach! Do not tumble dry! Do not machine wash! Do not iron! Do not use abrasive, bleach or other aggressive detergents. Leave the car seat to fully dry after cleaning and after that use it or store it. Do not wet or remove the stickers. They contain important information! Always store your car seat indoors – on dry and clean place. Do not expose to direct environment influence - sun, rain, moisture and high temperature intervals.
