Setup

Select a function:
Language
Set the language of the display text.
When "automatic" is set the lan-
guage of your service provider is
used. If a language that you do not
understand happens to be set, the
phone can be reset to the language
of your service provider with the fol-
lowing input:

Own greeting
You can create a greeting that is dis-
played when you switch on the
phone.

Activate and deactivate.

Delete old message and
compose new message.

Screensaver
The screensaver shows a graphic on
the display after a user-definable pe-
riod of time. An incoming call inter-
rupts the function.
Security
If is activated, the phone
code must be entered each time the
phone is used.
You have the following options:
• Activate, deactivate the function.
• Set style: graphic, analogue clock
(select graphic page 40).
• Display bitmap viewer.
• Set period after which the screen-
saver starts.
• Activate/deactivate security set-
ting using the phone code.

Illumination
The display illumination can be
switched on and off (switching it off
increases the standby time).
Big letters
You can change the font size of the
display.
Contrast
Sets the display contrast level.
