LUBRICATION MAINTENANCE INTERVAL SCHEDULE
DIESEL ENGINE MAINTENANCE AFTER FIRST 50 HOUR
THIS PROCEDURE SHOULD BE DONE EVERY 500 HOURS INTERVAL
Replace oil and oil filter
- Remove motor hood
- Place a bucket under the drain plug (1)
- Warm up the engine 10 minutes so that the engine oil gets hot before changing the
oil filter
- Turn off the engine, turn of the main switch
- Remove the drain plug (1) in the oil pan (3), drain engine from oil
- Remove the Cap (4) from filter body (7)
- Filter element (6) will be attached to cap (4) Remove filter element (6) from cap (4)
- Discard old filter element
- Remove O ring seal (5) from cap (4) discard O ring seal
- Ensure the cap and filter body are clean and free from dirt or damage, inspect new
filter element for damage before installing
- Install new O ring seal (5) onto cap (4) Install new filter element (6) into cap (4) install
new filter element (6) and cap (4) to filter body (7)
- Fill the oil through the oil filler cap (8) allow the oil to drain down to the oil pan for a
minimum 30 minutes before starting the engine
- Turn on the main switch, turn on the engine and allow the engine to idle for 2
minutes to check for any leaks
- Turn off engine wait 30 minutes, check oil level on dipstick if it's to low fill up with oil
The engine requires a total of 8-10 liter, SAE 15W-40 oil
