Possible Cause
Low flow
Line restrictions
Fittings or connections too small
The oil filter is dirty
The hydraulic pump is worn or damaged
The teeth or auger point are worn
Low system pressure
Relief valve damaged or set incorrectly
Excessive load
The hydraulic oil pump is in poor performance
Hydraulic hoses are reversed
Line restrictions
Hydraulic fluid is dirty
Insufficient amount of hydraulic fluid
Hoses and/or fittings are loose or damaged
Hydraulic motor seals are worn or damaged
Check the flow meter; if low investigate the
Replace with proper fittings
Check the pressure gauge; if low, investigate
Adjust or replace the relief valve as required
Reduce the load to remain within machine spec-
Have the oil pipeline inspected by the excavator
Re-install hydraulic hoses in correct order
Replace hydraulic fluid and filter
Fill the reservoir to proper level
Tighten or replace parts as required
