Breaker
1. To utilize the auger system, the diverter valve must be in the fully down position.
2. Apply sufficient force with the Breaker to guarantee effective breaking. If the force used to break rock is
not sufficient enough, the hammering energy of the piston isn't effective enough to break
rock. The hammering energy will be transmitted to the Breaker body, the boom and the arm of the skid
loader causing damage to possibly both skid loader and Breaker.
3. Choose the best striking point possible during the breaking operation. Operate the Breaker's steel rod as
vertical as possible to prevent damage to the rod or other equipment.
4. Use the following precautions when operating the Breaker.
● Stop operations if the hydraulic hoses are vibrating excessively. Excessive vibration can cause failure
of the accumulator and or oil leakage at hose connections. Monitor the condition of the hydraulic
hoses and adaptors continuously.
● Once the rocks are crushed, immediately stop hammering. Avoid empty firing to prevent damage to
implement.
● Do not use the Breaker bar to push rocks. This can damage the skid loader arms and or the boom.
● Do not use the steel bar as a pry bar.
● Do not strike the rock with the steel bar continually for more than one minute.
● Rocks that are extremely large, hard or long, it is recommended to start breaking at cracks or near the
ends. Break the rocks at multiple positions.
● Operate the Break at optimal engine speed.
● Do not operate the Breaker in mud or water.
● Do not drop the steel bar on the rock. Place it on the rock and then begin breaking the rock. Striking
the rock can cause damage to the Breaker and skid steer. Move the Breaker into the working position
and place the steel bar against the rock.
● If the steel bar is extended, retract it before placing against a rock.
● Do not lift any objects with the Breaker.
