TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
Problem
Liquid won't freeze
Freeze head will not seal tightly.
Freezing time is longer than specified
in table.
Pipe does not stay frozen.

Cause
Liquid still flowing.
Pipe not full.
Incorrect CO

cannot get to freeze head due to

clogged filters.
Glycol or antifreeze in pipe.
Freeze head is correctly applied.
Air temperature, water temperature
and type of pipe affect freezing times.

flow stopped.

Solution
All liquid flow must be stopped.
Pipe must be full of liquid to create a
solid plug when frozen.
Must use CO
tank with dip tube.

Check and replace clogged filters in
the T-Distributor or Injectors.
Flush line with water before freezing.
CO
must escape from freeze head to
2
work properly. Do not over tighten or
freeze head could shatter.
Keep spare CO
tank on hand when
2
freezing larger lines with longer
freeze times.
Must use CO
tank with dip tube.

Flow of CO
must be maintained until
2
repair of pipe is complete.
Must use CO
tank with dip tube.
