V. Marinate meat with the canister
1. Be careful to use proper canisters and covers suitable for vacuum
packaging, strong and resistant, in steel, plastic or tempered glass.
2. Be sure to have a proper canister attachment, for the covers and
valves used.
3. Fill canister leaving 4/5 cm free space from top.
4. Insert one end of the hose (11.) into the air intake (9.). Insert the
other end in the canister valve or specific canister attachment; this
attachment is specific for every kind of cover/canister, so it may be
bought as spare part.
5. Press the button "Vacuum" (7.) until setting vacuum pressure to "High";
corresponding LED switches on.
6. Press the button "Marinate" (4.) to start the marinating operation. The
appliance will automatically release air after completing the vacuum
cycle, then it will repeat the cycle 5 times. The total duration of the
cycle is approximately 6 minutes.
7. Immediately remove hose end (11.) and canister attachment; lock
canister valve (if necessary, depending on the kind of cover/canister
used). Don't delay this operation, to prevent air leakage inside the
canister.
N.B.:
- At the beginning of the vacuum packaging in a canister, slightly press
down the canister cover or on the hose adaptor to ensure no loose of the
hose and to avoid air leaking through the gap between the cover and the
canister top rim for a few seconds.
- To verify vacuum, simply tug on the cover. It shall not move;
- Do not press any button to interfere with the whole process.
