Oil Level Monitoring
for CS. Compressors

1 Application
An adequate oil supply is very important
for the operating life of a compressor.
Lack of lubrication, e. g. due to oil short
age. Even a short interruption of the oil
supply can destroy the roller bearings.
The OLC-D1-S is an opto-electronical
sensor for contactless monitoring of the
oil level by means of infrared light.
Depending on the mounting position and
electrical connection, the same device
can be used for monitoring the minimum
and maximum oil levels.
The monitoring device consists of two
parts: a prism unit and an opto-electronic
unit.
• The prism unit is mounted directly into
the compressor housing.
• The opto-electronic unit is not in direct
contact with the refrigerant circuit. It is
screwed into the prism unit and
integrated into the control circuit of the
plant. An external control module is
not required.

用途
コンプレッサーを運転する上で、適切な
オイル供給が非常に重要となります。オ
イル切れなどでたとえ短時間でも潤滑油
が不足すると、温度が急上昇してしまう
からです。また短時間でもオイル供給が
中断すると、ローラーベアリングが焼き
付きます。
OLC-D1-S は赤外光利用の非接触光学式
オイルレベルモニターです。
取付け位置と電気的接続を変えること
で、 同じ装置を最小/最大いずれのオイル
レベル監視にも使用できます。
モニター装置を構成する部品は、 プリズム
ユニットと光学式ユニットの 2 つです。
• プリズムユニットはコンプレッサー
ハウジングに直付けします。
• 光学式ユニットは冷媒回路とは直接
接触しません。プリズムユニットにネ
ジ止めされ、プラントの制御回路に統
合されます。外部制御モジュールは必
要ありません。
